Focus: Deconstructing Photographs

  1. To investigate the events of the Holocaust by using primary evidence (photographs)
  2. To evaluate the use of photographs in museums and question how interpretations can be affected by the context that is provided.

Learning Outcomes

  1. Describe or explain some events of the Holocaust through the use of photographs.
  2. To decide and evaluate how important it is for museums to include information with photographs.

Session Times and Prices
Morning sessions start at 10.00, 10.30 and 11.00 and cost £10 per student (teachers/accompanying adults are free in a ratio of 1:10). See tables below for approximate timings. These are subject to change and exact timings will be provided to you on arrival.

* Out of respect to our survivors, if your school needs to depart the Centre before 14.30 we can not guarantee that your staff/students will be able to listen to the survivor speak.
